Inspiring Companies to Go Green on Earth Day 2024

On this Earth Day, we want to encourage companies to reduce their environmental impact and inspire others to do the same. You have the power to implement easy actions that support sustainability in your work environment. If we can do it, you can too!

In 2023, we took significant strides by tracking and offsetting our Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon emissions, a feat made even more impressive by tallying the entire team’s household energy use, not just office areas. This comprehensive approach resulted in offsetting 31 tons of eCO2, covering electricity, natural gas, business travel, and even hosting emissions!

Moreover, our dedication to sustainability extends beyond the workplace. Through initiatives like planting 10 trees for every project using our software and launching a Sustainability Committee focused on fostering eco-friendly habits in employees’ personal lives, we are making a tangible impact on both a professional and individual level. From providing resources for plastic-free products to reimbursing employees for transitioning to LED lighting and adopting food waste composters, Green Badger is empowering our team to embrace sustainable practices at home. Looking ahead to 2024, Green Badger is ready to further expand our efforts, demonstrating that sustainability is not just a one-time initiative but a continuous journey. By supporting employees in driving sustainability within their local communities, and promoting wellness through various initiatives, we are setting a commendable example of how businesses can prioritize both environmental protection and employee wellbeing. As we commemorate Earth Day, our goal is to promote simple eco-friendly practices in more companies, contributing to a sustainable future for our planet.
