After a decade of empowering project teams with industry-leading sustainability software, Green Badger is rolling out a major platform update. Launching in mid-September, the redesigned interface offers a modern look, faster workflows, and an upgraded user experience without disrupting your existing projects or data.
Here is everything you need to know about what is coming, why it is changing, and how to prepare.
What’s Changing in September
The core functionality of Green Badger remains unchanged, but the platform is now clearer, faster, and easier to navigate. Key enhancements include:
- Redesigned Project Dashboard and Navigation: The top dropdown menus have been replaced with an intuitive left-hand sidebar navigation. You can toggle seamlessly between credits, jump between multiple projects with a single click, and view high-level project summaries before diving into specific credit details.
- Upgraded Product Search and Database Query Engine: Finding compliant products is faster than ever. Filter by specific product attributes, save custom searches for instant access, layer multiple rating systems, and tap into an expanded database.
- Enhanced Log Management: Gain full operational visibility across all system logs. Advanced sorting, filtering, and customization options let you build and save tailored views effortlessly.
- Streamlined Workflows and Collaboration: Enjoy updated permission roles, improved subcontractor management, in-app commenting, and immediate notifications.
- Redesigned Mobile App: Engineered for speed and performance, the upgraded app gives field teams complete control right from their mobile devices.
What’s Not Changing
Transitioning to the new interface requires no administrative burden on your part:
- Your Data and Projects: All existing projects, credit documentation, uploaded files, and historical data will carry over exactly as they are. No re-entry or re-uploading is required.
- Your Account Access: Your login credentials, web URL, and subscription pricing will stay the same.
- No Features Removed: All the tools you rely on are still here and easier to access.
Navigation At-a-Glance: Where Did My Features Go?
To help you get oriented, here is a quick guide to where key features live in the new layout:
| Feature / Task | Old Location | New Location |
| Project Selection and Dashboard | Top dropdown menu / Main navigation link | Sidebar Navigation: Click any project directly from the left sidebar to open its project-specific dashboard. |
| Credit Navigation | Top dropdown menus | Sidebar Navigation: Toggle back and forth between credits and active projects directly from the fixed sidebar. |
| Log Management and Filters | Fixed log views | Customizable Log Views: Sort, filter, and save tailored view preferences directly within log tables. |
Frequently Asked Questions
