- Enhanced Navigation & Dashboard: A completely redesigned high-level dashboard summary lets you see exactly where your project stands before diving into credit details. Plus, intuitive sidebar navigation replaces top dropdown menus, making it seamless to switch between credits and navigate across multiple projects.
- Streamlined Workflows & Permissions: Updated permission roles, improved subcontractor management, in-app commenting, and notifications.
- Expanded Product Database & Rating Systems: The ability to layer multiple rating systems and leverage a significantly expanded database with more product attributes to improve tracking and compliance.
- Enhanced Log Management: Advanced sorting, filtering, and customization options across all system logs.
After a decade empowering teams with sustainability software, we’ve learned there is always room to simplify your job. Our users’ most common request was a faster, more flexible, and intuitive experience. We listened: this redesign makes it easier to source products, customize log views, and manage sustainability documentation.

ESG functionality
This video provides an introduction to Green Badger’s ESG platform. Green Badger has been streamlining green construction compliance for years and now offers ESG tracking and benchmarking services for general contractors. While the construction industry has traditionally focused on building sustainability, Green Badger’s platform addresses the gap between material creation and the environmental impacts of construction. It enables teams to track and reduce carbon footprint, waste, water, and energy impacts. The platform also includes features to monitor on-site wellness and aligns with social and governance metrics. Green Badger’s user-friendly experience simplifies and streamlines the entire sustainability process.
In this video, we learn about the general controls and functions of the ESG platform (esg.getgreenbadger.com) provided by Green Badger. Below is the topic breakdown:
- Account and Project Set Up and Changes
- Export Documents, Attachments, and Photos
- Reading Main Page Display
- Adding, Deleting, Approving, or Revising Entries
- QR Code Access for Subcontractor
In this video, we learn how to manage waste entries on the ESG Green Badger platform. After accessing your project, you can navigate to the waste page to view important metrics such as total diversion rate, percentage of recycled material streams, and total waste. To add an entry, simply click on the upper right corner and fill in the necessary details, including material type and quantity. Editing entries and exporting reports are also straightforward processes. It’s important to note that project settings, including enabling or disabling the Waste Dashboard and managing metrics and goals, can be accessed in the Project Settings section. Only owners and admin users have permission to make these changes.
In this video, you will learn how to enter your energy data on ESG GetGreenBadger. After logging in to the website, navigate to your project and access the energy dashboard. Here, you can view energy intensity, usage by type, and overall carbon intensity. You can also track energy use by source over time. To add a new energy entry, click on ‘Add Entry’ and provide details such as fuel type, quantity, unit, service provider, cost, billing period, team member, and tags. Remember to save your entry and follow best practices, such as capturing sub-related entries and having the invoice payer log the entry.
In this video, we learn how to enter carbon entries and manage carbon data in Green Badger. To access your projects, click on the badger head icon on the home screen. Goals can be set in the project settings tab. Carbon entries can be made by clicking on the carbon icon or the dial on the home screen. The video explains the different types of carbon emissions, such as scope one, scope two, and scope three emissions, as well as embodied carbon. The process of entering carbon data for product transport, employee commutes, sub-commutes, travel, general carbon fields, and embodied carbon is explained step by step. The video also covers uploading the EC3 raw building element report for embodied carbon data. Additionally, the video demonstrates how to generate a QR code for product transport and export carbon data in PDF format.
In this video, you will learn how to access and manage water metrics in your project. By clicking on the name of your project, you can access project settings where you can enter your metrics and goals. The water section of the dashboard provides overall water metrics, water intensity, and water use by source. You can filter the data by responsible party and view it by different date ranges. To add entries, you can upload bills, add comments, and specify quantity, unit, and service provider. The video also explains how to export data in different formats, such as PDF.
In this video, you will learn how to use ESG for erosion control reporting. You can navigate through the platform by clicking on the badger head to return to the home screen or selecting a specific project. Start by entering your ESC measures in project settings, which include common measures from your civil team’s drawings. Then, access erosion control from the sidebar to view reports and corrective actions. You can edit previous entries, export the data, and add new entries as needed. The goal of these measures is to reduce pollution from construction activities by controlling soil erosion, waterway sedimentation, and airborne dust. Make sure to comply with local codes and fix any issues promptly.
In this video, you will learn how to enter M/WBE entries. To navigate, click on the Badger to return to the home screen, select the project name to access the project, and choose the metric from the side panel or dial. You can collapse or expand the dials for more space and access log maps. Best practices include contacting payroll or procurement departments for supplier data. To add new entries, click on the pencil edit button, fill in the required information, select the vendor’s category and status, upload the bill, and invite subs to fill out information. Finally, export the data in various reporting forms, such as PDF, to track progress.
In this video, we explore how to use the ESG Green Badger platform to track and manage wellness metrics. By accessing the platform through the homepage, you can easily navigate to your projects and access the wellness metric. The contractor’s commitment is categorized into air, water, and other wellness measures, which can be customized for each project. You can add new entries, upload images for confirmation, and add comments as needed. It is recommended to review and update these measures quarterly. Additionally, the platform allows you to export reports in PDF format for easy sharing and documentation.
In this video, we learn about the philanthropy section of an ESG platform. Philanthropy is company-specific and can involve positively impacting communities or supporting green building practices. The ESG platform allows users to measure their impact through volunteer hours and funds donated. Best practices include capturing monthly donations or volunteer hours and adding them as entries for each organization. The platform provides filters and editing options for previous entries, as well as the ability to add new entries with event details, responsible parties, tags, files, and status. Users can also export their data in different formats, such as PDF.
In this video, we will learn how to use filters to sort data based on various metrics. Starting from the home screen of esg.getgreenbadger.com, we will click on the Badger icon and select our project. We can then filter the data by responsible party, vendor, service provider, fuel type, emission type, sub, status, and activity to view specific entries. By applying the filters, we can easily narrow down the data and focus on the desired metrics. This tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on using filters effectively.
