On September 12, 2023, President Biden released an Executive Order to advance innovation for a sustainable, safe and secure American bioeconomy and to promote the purchase of biobased products. The USDA BioPreferred Program now has over 8000 USDA Certified biobased products on the market for purchase. The BioPreferred Program offers global participation from manufacturers.
